My wife and I have now completed four (4) mortgages through Mortgage Girl because Jackie is just so damn good at what she does. We do our homework and check around for rates, but Jackie always comes back with the better rates. The last two mortgages in particular have been no cakewalk due to our financials. Both my wife and I are now self-employed with modest incomes, so right off the bat we are shunned by some lenders because we don't meet their lending criterias. However, Jackie has access to and rapport with a variety of lenders that we just don't have. We were able to get the mortgages through her network of lenders. On top of that, we've always got fantastic, below-prime rates *despite* our situations. Finally, they know the ins-and-outs of applying for mortages and make the process easier. Five star. Mortgage Girl deserves it!

Jackie was very helpful in helping us navigate the mortgage application process on our cottage. She had great insights and tips. She was transparent about the process and setting expectations. I would not hesitate to refer her!

Simple process with Mortgage Girl, however I was surprised to find an additional fee on the HELOC account I wasn't expecting and I didn't know that until after I signed. When your mortgage is large this fee will seem inconsequential however as a percentage of a small mortgage this fee can add a decimal point on the rate. I don't know if that is typical on a line of credit account but either way I think it should have been communicated to me by this company. I wasn't given a choice of lenders just the one I believe was based on interest rate alone. To be fair I don't know if it would have made a difference to the amount.
