I’m Jackie Woodward, the proud owner of The Mortgage Girl.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

After working for twenty years in the banking sector, I decided to pursue a career as a mortgage broker. While I enjoyed my job, I already explored every opportunity that appealed to me in my profession as a banker. Also, a career in the mortgage industry offered me more options than the bank did. So in 2001, I became a licensed mortgage broker and have been happy with my decision for the last eighteen years.

Business today is similar to what it was when I became a mortgage broker. However, when it comes to our clients, they have to comply with more rules and qualification standards now compared to when I joined this industry. As a result, I need to have sufficient knowledge of the latest rules and regulations to efficiently guide my clients towards a mortgage based on their unique situation.

Over the years, I have helped several clients successfully obtain mortgages to finance their new homes. It’s a joy to know that I am helping people fulfill their dreams. But the real satisfaction in this line of work comes from being able to close difficult applications successfully. Completing files and making clients happy is the most rewarding part of owning my business, and I am proud that I get to do this regularly.

To enable my clients to obtain the perfect mortgage for their needs, I make sure I understand what their requirements are. I then educate them about mortgages and communicate with them in language that helps them to understand the technical side of the mortgage process. I also encourage my clients to ask questions so that they are well-informed and comfortable with the decisions that they make.

When working with clients, I make sure that I am honest and fair. I do not withhold information from them, even if I know that a particular case will be challenging. I inform my clients of the struggles they are likely to face and help them figure out a way around this.

When a client comes to me with a challenge, I never give up on them. As a tenacious professional, I do my absolute best to get their file completed and keep our lines of communication open, so they aware of what is happening.

When I am not at work, I like to read during my free time. I am an avid reader as I love to stay up to date on what is happening in the world, and I enjoy the entertainment that a good book provides.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.

If you or someone you know could benefit from my expertise as a mortgage broker in Edmonton, AB, I invite you to get in touch. Please visit my website at www.mortgagegirl.ca.

Sincerely,

Jackie
